 Coppersmith Barbet


The Coppersmith Barbet, Crimson-breasted Barbet or Coppersmith (Megalaima haemacephala), is a bird with crimson forehead and  throat. It is a resident found in the Indian Subcontinent and parts of Southeast Asia. Like other barbets, they chisel out a hole inside a tree to build their nest.Throughout their wide range they are found in gardens, groves and sparse woodland. 

Green Bee-eater


It is a bird found throughout parts of Africa and Asia which feeds mostly on bees and insects.Like other bee-eaters, this species is a richly colored, slender bird. It is about 9 inches (16–18 cm) long with about 2 inches made up by the elongated central tail-feathers. The sexes are not visually distinguishable.                   
Black-lored Tit 

                   The Black-lored Tit, Parus xanthogenys, is a passerine bird in the tit family Paridae. This species is a resident breeder in the Himalayas.It is a common bird in open tropical forests.The Black-lored Tit is, like other tits, a vocal bird, and has a large variety of calls, of which the most familiar is a si-si.
Oriental white-eye

                               It is a resident breeder in open woodland in tropical Asia, east from the Indian Subcontinent to Southeast Asia.This bird is small (about 8–9 cm long) with yellowish olive upper parts, a white eye ring, yellow throat and vent. The belly is whitish grey but may have yellow in some subspecies. The sexes look similar. The species is found in a wide range of habitats from scrub to moist forest.These white-eyes are sociable, forming flocks which only separate on the approach of the breeding season. They are highly arboreal and only rarely descend to the ground. The breeding season is February to September but April is the peak breeding season.

Scaly-breasted Munia or Spotted Munia

A sparrow-sized estrildid finch native to tropical Asia.This Munia eats mainly on grass seeds apart from berries and small insects. They forage in flocks and communicate with soft calls and whistles.The species is highly social and may sometimes roost with other species of munias. This species is found in tropical plains and grasslands.

A medium-sized passerine bird native to Asia. Males have elongated central tail feathers, and in some populations a black and rufous plumage while others have white plumage. Females are short-tailed with rufous wings and a black head. They feed on insects, which they capture in the air often below a densely canopied tree.
