The Hoopoe is a medium sized bird, 25–32 cm.The diet of the Hoopoe is mostly composed of insects, although small reptiles and frogs as well as some plant matter such as seeds and berries are sometimes taken as well. Found in Indian Subcontinent, Central Africa to South Africa, Madagascar.
